About Heidi K. Brown
Heidi K. Brown is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Associate Dean for Upper Level Writing at New York Law School, and a former litigator in the construction industry. She earned her master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. Having grappled with extreme performance anxiety as a law student, attorney, and new law professor, Heidi ultimately untangled her fears, and embraced authenticity as a powerful asset in teaching and practicing law. She is the author of:
- The Introverted Lawyer: A Seven-Step Journey Toward Authentically Empowered Advocacy
- Untangling Fear in Lawyering: A Four-Step Journey Toward Powerful Advocacy
- The Flourishing Lawyer: A Multi-Dimensional Approach to Performance and Well-Being
Heidi finally found her flow and crafted a life of flourishing through teaching, writing, boxing, jumping up and down at U2 concerts, studying Italian, and traveling the world solo. For information about Heidi's books, speaking engagements, workshops, one-on-one coaching, or if you simply need some encouragement, please email her at: heidi@theintrovertedlawyer.com.
